Reducción del riesgo de contaminación bacteriana alrededor del implante
Testimonial: it reduces the risk of bacterial contamination around the implant
What's important when placing an implant is not just its position in the bone, and possibly in the future prosthetic corridor of the supraimplant crown, but perfect stability of the peri-implant biological space. This stability is achieved when the gingiva is strong, thick if possible and, above all, stable.
The main characteristic of this system is that it "formats" the gingiva, giving it a shape (A, B, C or D shape) that is perfectly adapted to the future supra-implant crown, while giving the gingiva a remarkable appearance and quality.
We now know that the untimely screwing and unscrewing of supra-implant components often destabilizes the peri-implant biological space, introducing or re-introducing bacteria. The main advantage of Iphysio is that once it has been placed on the implant, it cannot be unscrewed again until the final crown is inserted, thereby greatly reducing the risk of bacterial contamination around the implant.
The advantages are enormous: gingival "preparation" and shaping, ease and speed of impression taking (especially if equipped with an intra-oral CT scan). Another advantage is the total absence of pain when removing the part and inserting the crown (the crown's emergence profile perfectly replicates that of the Iphysio).
It allows perfect positioning and adaptation of the crown, usually without retouching. I think an angled model would be a great help. By placing this model in the anterior sectors, we could achieve immediate loading by covering the vestibular part with resin.
What's more, a format with a smaller diameter than the A shape would seem to me to be perfectly suited to lower incisors.
