The use of artificial root implies the creation of the most natural subgingival volume and emergence profile possible for both aesthetic and biological purposes.

More than aesthetics in the strict sense, the goal is to obtain the best possible integration of the prosthetic restoration in the biological and anatomical context of the patient.  This will involve transferring the spatial position of the implant but also the volume of the newly created sulcus. Virtually all physical and chemical impressions are scanned in the laboratory. As a result, the coherence of the digital flow constitutes an additional argument in the use of the intra-oral optical impression as a small single or multiple unit implant prosthesis.

However, until now, the scanbodies for intra-oral impressions were identical to those used in the laboratory on plaster models resulting from physical and chemical impressions and therefore not at all suited to the constraints of the intra-oral optical impression. and the transfer of the emergence profile. This work proposes to present an original digital solution for transferring the implant position and emergence profile newly created using the Iphysio system developed by Lyra Etk.
